Welcome to my world of compassionate care and integrative wellness coaching.

I'm Kareen Anderson, LCSW-QS, a dedicated Clinical Social Worker and Certified Wellness & Health Coach.

I am driven by personal exploration into non-traditional healing methods. Originally hailing from the island of Jamaica, I've found my home in Sarasota, Florida. Living nearby is my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson - who serve as my grounding force, emphasizing the profound importance of the human connection in all aspects of my life. Through it all, my faith has been a primary source of strength on this journey towards wellness. Leading me to create Adorned Wellness & Consulting, LLC.

On my own wellness journey, I had to pause and do a deeper dive within, and learn to adorn myself as my Heavenly Father has - hence the name for this business was born.

Colossians 3:12 “Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.”

ABOUT ME

a·dorn

/əˈdôrn/ verb: The definition of adorned according to Oxford Languages is, “to make beautiful or attractive.” Spiritual adornment is the act of making your heart beautiful with hope, faith, joy, kindness, love, and other holy characteristic traits.

Let’s Get Personal

Beyond my professional pursuits, you'll find me indulging in my personal interests. I try to practice what I teach by engaging in self-care on a daily basis. This included: gardening, traveling, volunteering, and basking in the goodness of God.

Some of my favorite activities include growing my own herbs and vegetables to practice eating organic and seasonally. I have this same practice with my fruits and fruit trees. I also keep up with my knowledge by learning how foods can be used for healing.
